BEEF STEAK MACARONI

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons butter

  • 750 grams stewing steak

  • 140 grams tomato paste

  • 220 grams mushrooms in buttered sauce

  • 1 teaspoon sweet paprika

  • 2 medium onions, sliced

  • 11⁄2 cups water

  • 90 grams macaroni

Method:

Heat butter, add paprika. Fry steak and onions until brown. Add tomato paste, mushrooms in buttered sauce, water and salt and pepper to taste. Simmer for one hour then throw in the macaroni and simmer for 35 minutes more. Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve with greens.
